FOR THE PEOPLE is my primary goal. FOR THE PEOPLE is why I am here.

As a judge, it is my intent to play a vital role in Reforming the Judicial System. In my efforts to reform the court system, I pledge to make justice more accessible to everyone, regardless of race, creed, country of origin, rich or poor and/or social standing. I pledge to render prompt and concise decisions. I believe that justice delayed is justice denied. I pledge to protect our communities with the decisions I make from the bench.

Many of our communities are under attack by lawlessness. It is a frightening experience to read in the newspapers, listen to the radio or watch on the television, the unbelievable acts of crime that are going on around us. Everyone of us want a safe and decent community to live in and to raise our children. I too want to live in such a community. It is time, for concern DeKalb County citizens to get involved. To take the initiative by electing the officials that will work FOR THE PEOPLE. You can be assured that I will protect you by the decisions I make from the bench.

I pledge to temper my decisions with mercy. I recognize that some crimes deserve jail time and such shall be my decision. Yet, in some instances rehabilitation may be more appropriate. “A second chance” may be exactly what some that will come before me need. A structured rehab will give these a “second chance” and also alleviate the overcrowding of our jails. This creative solution is a WIN-WIN for our judicial system and our communities.

It is my sincere hope, for the sake of DeKalb County - where we live, work and play, that you take the extra step, to go and vote. It has been my privilege and honor to have served you as a DeKalb County State Court Judge for the last four years. I hope that I have proven to you not only that I am qualified, but also capable. I believe I have made a difference and will continue to make a difference with my decisions from the bench. I promise I will never betray your trust in me and will cherish the great honor given to me by your votes.
